Weddings Anniversaries
Mike and Becky Bennett are happy
to announce the marriage of their
daughter Heather Michelle to Jedd
Sterling Cole, son of Laura and Dave
LaRavia and Ricki Cole. The wed-
ding took place on May 5, 2013, at
the Miami Township Civic Center in
Milford, Ohio. More than 100 friends
and family members celebrated this
special occasion, enjoying a beautiful
spring day in the Civic Center’s Miami
Room, with its three walls of ceiling-
to-floor windows.
Heather was attended by her sister,
Erica Bennett, and Jedd’s sister, Codi
Cole. Jedd was attended by good
friends Eddie Foster and Tim Foster.
Kyle Metzger was a responsible ring
bearer, and Brooke Metzger was a
charming flower girl. The ceremony
was performed by Jedd’s grandfather,
Tom Diaz.
Jedd and Heather honeymooned in
the Smoky Mountains near Gatlin-
burg, Tennessee, and then returned
to Cincinnati where Heather works in
sample administration at Advanced
Testing Laboratory and Jedd is con-
tinuing his education at the University
of Cincinnati.
Friends for many years, Jedd and
Heather are excited to begin their
journey together as husband and wife.

engagements, weddings, significant anniversaries
(25, 40, 50, 60, etc.), graduations and obituaries.
Typically they run between 50 and 100 words;

along with the written copy to your congregation’s
reporter.
On May 26, 2013, in the beautiful botanical gardens of
Buffalo, New York, Briere Kester and Noah Delaney were
married. The bride described the experience as surreal, as
her parents Wayne and Penny Kester, who serve as deacon
and deaconess in the Buffalo congregation, watched her walk
down the aisle. After the wedding, Briere and Noah went to
scenic Niagara Falls for a mini-honeymoon before their of-
ficial honeymoon in Maine this July. Congratulations to the
new couple! We wish you many happy years ahead.

Andy Gowens from Dover, Delaware, and Sharon Figgs
from Milford, Delaware, were united in marriage on May 4,
2013 by their pastor Todd Carey. They are members of the
Delmar, Delaware, congregation. Lisa Kifer sang “He Gave
Me You” accompanied on guitar by Bob Biskup. Family
and friends attended Sabbath services in the morning, and
more joined us for the wedding and potluck reception in
the afternoon. The bride made a delicious wedding cake.
The couple will reside in Milford, Delaware.
