The Kansas City, Kansas, congregation
has enjoyed many blessings over the
last year, but some of our favorite bless-
ings came in the form of babies-four
babies, in fact, in less than six months!
Carter Aaron Mortier was born on July
2, 2012, (much to his mother’s dismay
as he was due in June) to parents Chad
and Lora Mortier. Carter is a very
friendly guy who has a big, handsome
smile for everyone.
Stephen Caleb Froedge was born on
Nov. 7, 2012, to Caleb and Katie Froedge.
He is a quiet, sweet and cuddly guy who
loves to be held and is very social.
Leslie Maria Muñoz was born a little
over a week after Stephen on Nov. 16 to
Charlotte and JuanMuñoz. Besides being
incredibly sweet and social, she also has
the gift of gab. She will talk your ear off,
but you’ve never heard a sweeter voice.
Daniel John Ezekiel Scarborough was
born to Shanna and David Scarbor-
ough on Dec. 5, 2012. John is very laid-
back and an easygoing baby. He has a
very calming presence.
We are very thankful for all the new
growth God has blessed us with. It’s
remarkable how these little bundles of
joy have added so much warmth and
life into our congregation.
Katie Froedge
Ben and Dareth Kovaleski of the Ashe-
ville, North Carolina, congregation are
thrilled to announce the birth of their
daughter, Savannah Jane. Savannah
was born on March 19 at 7:57 a.m. She
weighed 6 pounds 7 ounces and mea-
sured 19 inches long. Ben and Dareth
are thoroughly enjoying this precious
new addition to their family! Savannah
carries on the family name of “Jane.”
Members of the Asheville congregation
watched Dareth and her siblings grow
up, and now they are blessed to see
another generation grow up.
