fall, Austin will be attending the Uni-
versity of Houston to pursue a degree in
communication disorders. He wants to
become a speech language pathologist.
Austin’s goal in life is to love God with
all of his being; but he remarked, “It is
nice to have a good physical life while
I’m living it.”

Drew
attended Live Oaks Vocational School
during his junior and senior years,
where he was certified in machining
and where he learned advanced weld-
ing. After graduation, Drew began
working in his field of machining for a
local company where he enjoys the work
he does creating parts for jet engines.
Church activities/hobbies/interests:
Drew has attended summer and winter
COGWA Youth Camps. He also enjoys
music, working out, welding and ma-
chining.
Plans after graduation:
Drew plans to
continue to work in his industry and
obtain his journeyman’s card, which
would allow him to travel to many dif-
ferent parts of the world working and
experiencing countless new adventures.
He intends to become a master machin-
ist and enjoy his life doing something he
truly loves.
Jacob Todd Golden

Jacob was
a member of the golf team and received
a Texas Scholar award for taking all AP
classes.
Church activities/hobbies/interests:
Jacob plays church basketball and vol-
leyball as well as participates in speech
club and teen Bible studies. He has
given two sermonettes as part of the
Fort Worth Teen Service Weekend.
Plans after graduation:
Jacob plans to
work and attend Universal Technical
Institute to become an automotive/
diesel technician. He also wishes to
grow into a closer relationship with
his Creator, to be baptized and to work
to change and shape his life to God’s
standards.

Paul was homeschooled with Ameri-
can School of Correspondence. He is a
member of the National Society of High
School Scholars. At Tyler Junior Col-
lege, where he was an early admission
student, he is a member of Phi Theta
Kappa and Sigma Kappa Delta.
Church activities/hobbies/interests:

Frances Hospital, enjoys writing and
loves spending time with the friends he
meets.
Plans after graduation:
This fall Robert
Paul will be studying engineering at Ty-
ler Junior College. Afterward, he plans
to study chemical engineering and get
certified in business management.

Carl was
homeschooled throughout his school
years until he got his GED last Novem-
ber. He has been working at Sonic in
Gladewater since he was 16 but is look-
ing forward to turning 18, so he can
find a job in the mechanical field.
Church activities/hobbies/interests:
Besides God and His Word, Carl is
interested in almost anything mechani-
cal and loves to fix things. If something
seems past repair, he’ll often find a way
to fix it, sometimes making it better
than it was to begin with. He is also
interested in nature, animals, history,
reading, camping, hunting and build-
ing things.
