for God’s children to grow in. He showed the importance
of teaching and training others for service now to help
prepare them for eternity in God’s family.
“Running the Race While Keeping the Faith”:
Mr. Franks
concluded the conference with an inspirational reminder
to the elders to run the Christian race with endurance and
to reassess themselves using the list of qualifications of
elders given in 1 Timothy 3 and Titus 1. He gave the elders
specific action steps to apply in better serving and loving
the members.
Conference reports
The conference also included a number of informative and
inspirational reports, including:
Ministerial Services: Mr. Horchak gave an update on the
congregations and the ministry. There are currently 201
total ministers, including 72 pastors around the world. He
introduced the 10 new elders ordained in the last year as
well as the two whose ministerial credentials were accepted:
